I enjoy a good book's sex scene as much as t. Yes, I am aware that many dynasties, especially the Ptolmeys, wed brother to sister, but these were very vivid and very sexual. This was a book you could really curl up under a blanket with.The point where Selene chose Mauretania over Egypt felt a bit rushed and sudden, but epiphanies in real life are like that sometimes!The only thing that bothered me were the sex scenes between Selene and Helios. During the whole book, you could be Selene. Review 1: This book was excellent as a sequel and would have been excellent as a stand alone! Many people complained about the magic in the first one- this had less of it, so I am sure that will please some people.During any sexual scenes between Selene and Augustus, you could really feel the disgust.
